Canadian power station fits FGD for 25 more years of service and constructs a new 183 m high chimney with Pennguard lined carbon steel flues.

The new chimney will operate as a 'wet stack' carrying treated, non-reheated flue gas. The use of thermally insulating Pennguard linings will help to minimize the formation of acidic condensate and the risk of acidic droplets or particle deposition around the power station.
