Hadek Protective Systems is a leading supplier of internal lining systems for power plant chimneys and flue gas ducts. Chimneys and ducts are exposed to a number of challenging operating conditions such as acidic condensate attack, high temperatures and temperature shocks. When a power plant is equipped with SO scrubbing equipment, flue gas temperatures are low and the operating conditions are especially corrosive.

Hadek distributes two well proven lining technologies, the PENNGUARD Block Lining System and Plasite 4310, to protect ducts and chimneys against these corrosive conditions. The Pennguard Block Lining System is a highly versatile lining system, which has been used for new construction as well as modification of existing chimneys for over 20 years.

Hadek offers its lining systems with a full range of technical services including technical support and full time installation supervision. Based on the excellence of the two linings and the quality of its services, Hadek has been able to offer its customers attractive solutions to complex corrosion problems for over 10 years.

Special services are offered to Hadek's Pennguard customers such as project feasibility studies, detail engineering, long term single source guarantees and a lifetime performance monitoring system.
